AD-PR Product
Thank you so much to the amazing Pride Book Tours for sending me a copy of 'Heretical' and giving me the opportunity to participate in their latest blog tour to celebrate, promote and share books with LGBTQIA+ representation!
Ignatia Heretical isn't shaping up to be much of a Hero.
The daughter of the most famous Villain in the country, Ig is finding that no matter how hard she tries, no one at her illustrious Hero academy seems to trust her. Or, you know. Like her. At all. Her only friend is Pisces- the beautiful, popular girl she's been hopelessly in love with since she started school at the Lunalist Academy For The Gifted and Talented.
However, Ig's chance to prove herself comes when she's signed up for a secret reconnaissance mission; infiltrate Shackleton School for Villains and work out their nefarious plans.
Pretend to be a Villain. Make friends with an unhinged botanist, a mad scientist, and his insufferable clone/lab assistant. Find out their secrets. Go home a Hero.
What could possibly go wrong?
'Heretical' is currently still on my TBR list (like most of the books I own!), but I still really wanted to give it a shout out and wish it all the best!
I think readers will love the huge heart which is at the centre of this magical adventure, packed with peril, shenanigans and secret operations. I'm so pleased to be able to talk about a book with a neurodivergent central protagonist; younger me would have been over the moon to meet Ig, as will all of Heretical's readers!
If you're looking for a quirky romp through a land where Heroes and Villains jostle for power, characters you'll never tire of and fantasy galore, then Heretical is the book for you.
You can buy it now from Northodox Press, and make sure to follow the author Emma Whitehall on Instagram @pensandpizza for more neurodivergent and bookish content!
Will you decide to be a Hero... or a Villain?
