SAVE THE DATE: 11-14th JULY 2024!

Welcome to the Newark Book Festival 2024, where I am very excited to announce that I will be volunteering this summer as a Young Ambassador!

The Newark Book Festival will celebrate its 8th birthday this July, with the fantastic theme 'The Power of Play'. The programme is bursting with curiosity, joy, and the wonder of words, giving you the opportunity to meet esteemed authors such as Michael Rosen and Holly Smale, and discover your next favourite read at one of the delightfully bookish events taking place all over the town.

The Newark Book Festival has something for everyone: little ones will love the BookBench sculpture trail, Jospeh Coelho's poetry workshop sees children and adults go head-to-head, and super sleuths will put their little grey cells to the test with a Spies and Thrillers talk, featuring authors Fiona Cummins, Nicci French, and Tammy Cohen.

Whether you've read your way through the streets of Newark before, or you're starting the first chapter of your journey of words, stories and laughter, the Newark Book Festival is the place to be this summer.

Head to newarkbookfestival.org.uk to book your tickets, your gateway to the power of play.

A special shoutout goes to the Creativity in Autism event, sponsored by Matt Haig and led by co-authors Dr Clare Lawrence and Via Macnab.

Whether neurodivergent or neurotypical, come along and help create empathy across neurotypes as the hosts take you on a voyage of play, imagination and discovery. Break down barriers and stereotypes by learning about and supporting the creative freedom found within the autistic community.

Buy the book, 'Creativity in Autism', here.
